- THE VENUE -

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! There is parking for approximately 75 cars on a first-come, first-serve basis. The entrance to the parking lot is located on 30th St. between F St. and G St.

I don’t want to drive. Where should my car service drop me off?

The reception hall is located at 616 Alhambra Blvd. Go through the gates into the courtyard between the church and the hall and check in will be to your left. Look for the Denim & Diamonds balloon arch!

- DINNER & DRINKS -

What’s for dinner?

Skipper Mike is serving up fresh caught Pacific Dungeness Crab, and Chef Matt is preparing delicious sides. For dessert, the Courtyard community is putting its culinary skills up for auction! The highest bidding table gets the most delectable treat. For more information about the dessert auction, please see below.

Will I have to pay extra for crab crackers or butter?

No. Crab crackers, crab picks, and butter will be provided at each table. No extra expense or DIY required. Simply show up and enjoy!

What about the cocktail menu?

Happy you asked! This year’s event will feature a selection of specialty cocktails, including several libations built on the incredible vodka and gin provided by our bar sponsor, Midtown Spirits. Check out the cocktail menu here! Beer, wine, soda, and a specialty mocktail will also be available for purchase. Water and coffee will be available at no charge.

How do I pay for drinks?

Goodbye drink tickets, hello technology! All bar sales will be processed via Square. You will have the option to use a credit card or touchless payment method (e.g., ApplePay) to purchase drinks. Feel free to leave the cash at home, you will not need it for this year’s Crab Feed.

Who is tending bar?

We're happy to announce that Shannon & Shannon, our bartenders from Casino Night, are coming back and bringing extra help to bartend this year’s Crab Feed.

- THE AUCTIONS -

How do I participate in the silent auction?

To participate in the silent auction, you'll register with GiveSmart at our custom auction site: http://cycrabfeed2024.givesmart.com. Don’t worry, registering with GiveSmart will not open the floodgates to a million unwanted spam emails. GiveSmart merely facilitates the auction. The only communications you receive will be those directed by Courtyard School.

Can I participate in the silent auction if I can’t make it to the Crab Feed?

Yes! If you register using the link above you can participate in the silent auction remotely. Bidding will commence when doors open for the event at 5:30pm on Saturday, March 9, and will close that evening at 8:15pm.

How does the dessert auction work?

Each table will have to opportunity to bid for position to a select a dessert. The table with the highest total bid selects first, followed by all other tables in descending order. The total table bid is the sum of the individual bids of each guest at the table (table guests do not have to bid the same amount). When you sit down for dinner, one guest at your table will find a “Dessert Auction Concierge” form at their seat that will be used to record and report your table’s dessert auction bids.

Your table will also be responsible for appointing a “Dessert Auction Runner.” The runner will literally run to the dessert auction table to claim your dessert as soon as your table number is called. Pick someone fast because Auctioneer Erik calls out the table numbers at lightning speed!

If you would like more information or would like to submit a dessert for auction, please contact Katherine Schulke at kjschulke@gmail.com

What about the live auction?

As always, the live auction is poised to be the highlight of the evening. We have a spectacular array of live auction items this year, including vacation getaways, packages for sought-after professional services, and more! The full list of live auction items will be available in the event program upon check in. Unlike the silent auction, participation in the live auction is limited to guests attending the Crab Feed.
